How durable are refinished bathtubs?
Miracle Method uses the most technologically advanced coating available. These finishes are designed to stand up to daily use and do not require special care. However, like a newly manufactured bathtub, a refinished surface can be chipped or scratched if it is abused.

How long does it take to refinish a bathtub?
A standard sized bathtub, in reasonable condition, takes only 4 to 6 hours to refinish. The tub will typically be ready to use within 24 hours or even sooner with special curing procedures.

Top Does refinishing have an odor?
The top coatings we use contain solvents, which are necessary to make the finish hard and durable. We use ventilation fans to exhaust air from the work area outside, minimizing the fresh paint like odor. 80% to 90% of the smell will be exhausted within the first 4 to 5 hours and substantially gone within a day.

No. Miracle Method can match an existing color or create almost any custom color of your choosing.
Top Can Miracle Method fix chips, scratches and cracks?
Small chips and cracks can usually be repaired during the preparation stage of the refinishing process. If it is just a single chip, we can often fill and refinish just the damaged area. With careful color matching, the repaired chip will be practically invisible. Plumbing manufacturers such as Kohler, Eljer, and Jacuzzi regularly use Miracle Method to repair fixtures which happen to be damaged during shipping or installation.

Does a refinished surface take special care?
You’ll find our care instructions are similar to those for most brand new bathtubs or new countertops…do not use cleaners that contain abrasives, harsh acids, or bleach. Most worn bathtubs, sinks and tile become worn and dull due to abrasive cleansers, not from time. For more specifics, go to Care and Cleaning Instructions.

How does refinishing compare to bathtub liners?
