Warranty and Cleaning Instructions

LIMITED WARRANTY:  Bathtubs, wall tile, and fiberglass fixtures are warranted for a period of five years against peeling or other failure of adhesion of the coating.  Sinks, counters, floors, spot repairs, slip resistant surfaces and all other refinished surfaces are warranted for a period of one year against failure of adhesion of the coating unless specified otherwise.   Any installed items, such as Easy Step, grab bars, or shower doors have a one year warranty.  This limited warranty is provided by your local Miracle Method franchise that performed the work and is subject to any other conditions stated on the face of the invoice and to the following conditions which will void any warranty:

                1.   The surface must not be allowed to remain continuously wet from items such as bath mats left on the surface without drying out between uses.  Bathmats with suction cups should not be used.

                2.   The fixture must not be used for water storage or contain standing water for extended periods of time.

                3.   Damage caused by continuous wetness from leaking or dripping plumbing.

                4.   Damage, chips, or nicks caused by sharp or falling objects, whether by intentional or accidental abuse.

                5.   Staining from chemicals, rust or hair dyes.

                6.   Care and cleaning contrary to the Cleaning Instructions below.

7.   Any movement in the substructure of the surface which, in turn, causes movement in the refinished surface resulting in a crack or

      split in the refinished surface or grout lines.

       8.   Most refinished areas must be allowed to completely cure for at least 24 hours before any contact or use. Countertops and vanities require at least 48 hours to cure.  Do not touch or use the surface during these times unless instructed otherwise by the technician. The refinished areas must remain free of moisture or water during this time.

9.  Damage from any activity or use which is not a normal or intended use of the fixture or surface as recommended by the original manufacturer.

In the event of any failure covered under this warranty, the local Miracle Method franchise will, at its option, either (1) repair the failed area, (2) refinish the entire fixture, or (3) refund the price of the job to you.  Caulk, plumbing, reoccurring rust, and shower doors are not warranted.   Travel charges may apply.  Any warranty terms or conditions written on the face of your invoice shall control and prevail over any other terms. This warranty covers the workmanship of an independent franchisee.  Any warranty claim must be submitted to and verified by the franchisee that performs the work. The franchisor of Miracle Method makes no warranty, either direct or implied, for any specific job.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS: Use only non-abrasive, liquid cleaners such as Mira-Clean (a Miracle Method product), Formula 409, Lysol Tub/Tile Cleaner, or Scrubbing Bubbles on your refinished tub, tile, or shower.  We recommend Mr. Clean, Fantastik or Formula 409 for your refinished counters. For best results, spray the surface and let it penetrate for 3-5 minutes before scrubbing with a plastic cleaning pad or brush designed for use on Teflon surfaces. Do not allow any after-shower cleaners to remain on surface for any extended period of time.  Rinse thoroughly and wipe the surface with a soft sponge or cloth.  Extend the life of your refinished surface with an automotive polymer polish every six months.
