The Property
Located in the heart of Penn’s campus, The Hilton Inn at Penn has a AAA Four Diamond rating. Its clientele come from the prestigious medical, educational and corporate centers in the immediate area.

The Problem
After several guest complaints, hotel management determined that their 240-steel/porcelain tubs with slippery bottoms were a slip and fall liability.

The Solution
Hilton Inn at Penn turned to Miracle Method to apply a slip resistant surface to every tub. Miracle Method’s SRS was selected because it bonds with the surface, won’t peel or discolor, and can be color matched.

The Process
The hotel needed to stay operational, so a schedule was developed to apply the SRS to 10 to 15 tubs a day depending on occupancy. Each completed tub was ready for service the next day.

The Result
The hotel did not disrupt their booking schedule and customer complaints about slippery tub bottoms all but disappeared. Also reduced was the liability for the hotel since it could show that it had taken proper measures to avoid slip and fall accidents.
