Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - Gloss Restored to 2000 Bathtubs
The Property
Set in a New Orleans-inspired setting, Disney’s Port Orleans is a destination resort for families from all over the world. Like all Disney properties, nothing but the best will do for their guests.
The Problem
The use of abrasive cleaners had dulled the bathtubs finish and they were not up to Disney standards. They needed 1200 tubs refinished within a strict timeframe to minimize down time of rooms.
The Miracle Method Solution
Miracle Method was selected from a number of refinishers based on the gloss and durability of the sample tub refinished on premises. Equally important was Miracle Method’s ability to provide a crew of sufficient size and experience to meet Disney’s deadline.
The Process
An experienced Hotel Response crew was assembled and worked as a team to complete 22 bathtubs a day. Before continuing the next day, each tub was inspected prior to releasing the team to continue the project.
The Result
Miracle Method met Disney’s deadline on time and on budget. More importantly, each tub met their exacting standards. Miracle Method was awarded with an additional 800 tubs and these also were completed on time and on budget.
