the problem
After guest complaints, hotel management determined that their 240 steel/porcelain tubs with slippery bottoms were a slip and fall liability.
The Solution
Hilton Inn at Penn turned to Miracle Method of Bucks County to apply a slip resistant surface to each tub. Miracle Method’s SRS was selected because it bonds with the surface, won’t peel and will not discolor
the process
The hotel needed to stay open so a schedule was developed to apply the SRS to 10 to 15 tubs a day depending on occupancy. Each completed tub was ready for service the next day.
the result
Miracle Method worked with the hotel’s schedule and completed the project within a couple of months. The hotel did not disrupt their booking schedule and customer complaints about slippery tub bottoms were eliminated. Also eliminated was the liability issue regarding the hotel not taking proper measures to avoid slippage and falling.
