The name Miracle Method comes from a trade secret product that eliminated the primitive use of hydrofluoric or sulfuric acid to etch the surface of porcelain or tile in order for it to accept a new coating. Known as MM-4, this “miracle” proprietary bonding agent is still what separates Miracle Method from other refinishers who still use acids to etch surfaces. Only Miracle Method franchises have access to this remarkable product and process to create a molecular bond between the new coating and the old surface. MM-4 is still considered the most effective bonding agent in the industry.
