Outdated or damaged tile countertops in your kitchen or bath can be wonderfully refinished in a variety of colors and stone finishes. One of the outstanding benefits of refinishing tile is that the grout lines are also sealed and refinished. Grout is a cementatious material that is naturally porous. It should be sealed after the initial installation and routinely resealed. Unfortunately, this rarely happens, thus the grout often becomes stained and hard to clean. Once white grout gets dirty, it’s almost impossible to return it to its original appearance using traditional cleaners.
